We are looking for a talented Applied Technology Technical Specialist - Experimental (Hybrid) to join our team specializing in Fatigue and Durability with an understanding of NVH our Power Systems Business in Fridley, MN

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

• Applies Principles of Fatigue and Durability - Determine life of components and systems and; evaluate component temperatures, natural frequencies, mode shapes, displacements, strains/stresses, wear, and fatigue life.
• Apply Principles of Dynamics and Vibration - Determine motion of components and systems; evaluate rigid and flexible body motion, natural frequencies, mode shapes, displacements, velocities, accelerations, friction, and wear.
• Apply Principles of Statistical Methods - Analyze technical data using descriptive statistics, probability distributions, graphical analysis, and statistical inference; model relationships between response and independent variables.
• Product Function Test System Design - Interpret test equipment specifications; select and integrate appropriate equipment, instrumentation, and software; and collect measurement data.
• Drive results, make quality decisions, communicate effectively across functional teams

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
• Masters or PhD in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in NVH (preferred)
• 5 years' experience working in a Fatigue and Durability (required)
• 5 years working with multi-channel high-speed data acquisition system (preferred)
• 3 years' experience in Project Management - preparing and detailing component or system validation plans, leading team meetings, delegating and defining cross functional tasks to meet project goals. (required)
• Knowledge of Load frames (MTS), Shaker test tables and data acquisition and analysis tools (required)

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
