Apprentice Plumber

HJD Capital is looking for Apprentice Plumbers to support current and upcoming project needs across San Antonio. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience and grow your career in the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced Journeyman and Master Plumbers on a variety of commercial construction jobs. What You'll Do: As an Apprentice Plumber, you'll assist experienced plumbers on job sites with tasks such as: • Supporting plumbing installations, maintenance, and repair work as directed • Helping inspect and maintain high standards of workmanship and safety • Maintaining tools, equipment, and materials to ensure job readiness • Learning to read blueprints and understand plumbing layouts • Cutting, assembling, and installing pipes and tubing • Assisting with domestic water supply systems, drainage, and med-gas • Helping identify and repair issues in plumbing systems • Working on gas, liquid, and stormwater piping systems • Practicing safe work habits in all environments What We're Looking For: • Basic understanding of plumbing tools and techniques • Willingness to learn and take direction • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Reliable and safety-conscious • High school diploma or equivalent • Enrollment in or completion of a plumbing apprenticeship program is a plus • Basic knowledge of water distribution and disposal systems is a plus What You Should Know: • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions • Have the capability to use plumbing tools • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds • You'll be part of a skilled team that values craftsmanship, safety, and growth WHY JOIN US?
