Job Description/Preferred Qualifications
Responsibilities
The right candidate will be dynamic, upbeat individual who is very passionate about delivering rich and powerful solutions that drive meaningful decisions, quality, and significant improvement in business results. Work together with GPG business functions such as Applications, Algorithm and S/W teams to perform a proof of study with an end goal of attempting to improve existing methodologies
- Interact with team members to thoroughly understand current method and collaborate with a cross-functional team to study a different methodology
- Proof of concept of new methodology with existing data
- Determine correlations with existing data sets on a variety of different system configurations
- Pursuing a Master's or PhD degree in Physics, Mathematics, Material Science or Engineering
- Creative thinker with good problem-solving abilities
- Working with large data sets
- Excellent proficiency of data analysis techniques in Excel or other plotting S/Ws such as JMP or Origin
- Proficiency in Python, and/or MATLAB applications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Motivated to learn new skills independently
Knowledge of semiconductor process or any relevant course work or previous internships in the semiconductor industry

Some College or work experience of 0 years
