AR Analyst

Responsible for monitoring cash collections for customers by processing invoices, collection, customer follow up for resolving missed payments and other issues.

Your key responsibilities

• Requires recent high volume, high dollar, B2B collection experience.
• Contact customers to secure payment and motivate them to pay invoices in accordance with established terms
• Research, reconcile and resolve customer deduction including sales tax and reconciliation of old items
• Obtain sales tax exemption certificates from customers and maintain the sales tax exemption certificate software (Sabrix)
• Assists in the preparation of monthly customer status meetings by discussing at-risk and slow paying customers
• Partner with customer service and sales to resolve contested items or recommend appropriate action
• Propose credit/rebill or adjustments to customer accounts to ensure accurate outstanding balances
• Reconciles customer accounts and process AR disputes and adjustments as needed
• Assists with the preparation of select month-end journal vouchers and account reconciliations, and support Finance team with special projects and audit requests
• Understanding of cash application process and remote deposit transactions
• Other duties as assigned

Who you are

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of related experience in a fast-paced corporate environment
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, performing tasks and providing information on a timely basis
• Associate's Degree preferred
• Experience with ORACLE ERP or another large ERP systems a plus
