We currently have an immediate need for a A/R Analyst

SUMMARY

This position will report to the Finance Manager of the Project Accounting Department and is responsible for the North America billing function.

PRIMARY DUTIES:

• Preparation of invoices for North America customers, including review and quality check of all system-generated invoices to ensure that customer requirements are met. Work closely with Sales department, Project Analysts, and Order Management to ensure customers invoice match against their purchase order.
• Submittal of invoices to North America customers, including uploading customer invoices to respective AP portals
• Log, track, and maintain invoicing issues to contribute towards process improvements for the billing function
• Assist with special customer billing requirements, tracking, logging errors
• Key interface with the Project Management and Project Analyst community in billing matters
• Perform full account reconciliation by reviewing the Purchase Order against booking, invoices, and payments to assist with AR and unapplied cash reconciliation.
• Work with customers to resolve billing disputes
• Assist with reporting quarterly sales to various states under Government Agencies.
• Ad-hoc initiatives as directed by Finance Manager, Credit and Collections.

PERFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting preferred
• Minimum 3 to 5 years prior experience in similar billing functions, preferably with prior experience in invoicing Counties, States and assimilated Government agencies
• Familiar with and capable of reading, understanding, and presenting financial reports and customer contracts.
• Excellent communication skills, both writing and verbal. Capable of interacting diplomatically with Aviat's customers. Comfortable interacting with all organizational levels, including Aviat's Senior Management
• Proficient in the use of Oracle ERP system, preferably release 12
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and PDF documents
