About the Role:
We are looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and experienced Accounts Receivable Analyst to support the business. Reporting to our Accounting Manager, you will perform accounts receivable close activities, contribute to drive external and internal customer service quality, and accounts receivable process efficiencies while working with key stakeholders, support initiatives, and participate in process improvements in a fast-paced environment. The position requires a hands-on person who is flexible, solutions-oriented and works well under pressure.
Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare customer invoices in a timely and accurate manner.
- Ability to process high volume of data accurately and efficiently.
- Proactively identify and notify clients of past due invoices.
- Resolve payment disputes thoroughly, involving management when appropriate.
- Collect and allocate payments.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies.
- Take ownership of the customer collections process.
- Maintain account receivable customer files.
- Support Order Managements, Sales & Billing with questions about billing and contracts.
- Perform ad hoc projects when required.
- Assist with accounting projects as needed, including Month-End close and annual external audit.
Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience in tech or related industry
- Broad knowledge of general ledger treatment for AR and Accruals. You will be expected to own a number of processes.
- Experience with month end close – account reconciliations, resolution of issues, reporting, etc.
- Exhibit strong problem-solving skills and an ability to lead assigned processes
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Strong understanding of both financial and operational controls
- Ability to partner cross-functionally across various departments
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, hyper growth environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and large ERP systems
- Workday and NetSuite experience preferred
Bonus:
- Media & Entertainment andor Ad Tech industry experience preferred
- Experience with Netsuite, Workday, GetPaid
