Job Summary:
The Collateral Analyst plays a critical role in risk mitigation within the A/R Financing department by performing due diligence to verify the authenticity, accuracy, and completeness of receivables. The Collateral Analyst works closely with other teams in the A/R Financing department to ensure quality and timely customer service while protecting TAB's interests. The Collateral Analyst team oversees the account debtor notification process. Collateral Analysts also assist the Collateral Analyst Manager in ensuring data integrity and functional compliance to TAB policies and procedures through the oversight of financial and portfolio reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for gathering incoming documentation submitted for funding.
- Review all submitted schedules for accuracy and completeness.
- After reviewing schedules for accuracy, ensure accurate entry of all schedules into system, making note of new debtors and accounts that will exceed the designated credit limit both at the client and debtor level.
- Ensure all debtors have received the Notice of Assignment.
- Contact account debtors for verification of invoices.
- Responsible for scanning, saving and emailing daily paperwork and assisting with clerical duties as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Associates degree in a Business discipline or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the financial services industry a plus.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of individuals ranging from executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- The successful candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who takes direction well but can also work independently.
