ABOUT THE ROLEÂ
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will play a crucial role in managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring the accuracy of customer invoices, payment applications, and timely collections. The accounts receivable specialist ensures that the company’s cash receipts from customers are correctly applied to customer invoices within the accounting system while following up on any outstanding payments with customers.Â
WHAT YOU WILL DOÂ
- Applies customer payments to customer accounts, ensuring that payments are properly matched to the correct invoiceÂ
- Investigate and resolve any invoice discrepanciesÂ
- Set-up new customers for accounts receivable
- Apply credits, process refunds, and keep accounts current, ensuring customer satisfactionÂ
- Follows up with customers who have past due accountsÂ
- Prepares accounts receivable journal entriesÂ
- Reconciles the accounts receivable subledger to the general ledgerÂ
- Enter AR invoices and ensure accuracyÂ
- Post cash receipts and apply to AR invoices as necessaryÂ
- Performs administrative tasks as requested by managementÂ
- Assist with accounting month-end and quarter-end processesÂ
- Assist with providing support and completing tasks required for the annual auditÂ
- Answer incoming phone calls to the CompanyÂ
-  Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field preferredÂ
- 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable, bookkeeping, or a similar roleÂ
- Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelÂ
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practicesÂ
- Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite a plusÂ
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detailÂ

The annual base salary range for this position is $48,000-56,000 USD/year. The actual annual base salary offered may be adjusted based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to: location, education, skills, training, and experience. This position may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
