AR Strategy and Risk Analyst

Ibotta is seeking a AR Strategy and Risk Analyst to join our innovative team and contribute to our mission to Make Every Purchase Rewarding. This person will be responsible for analyzing customer accounts and identifying those that are high risk..

This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position, requiring 2 days in office. Preferred in-office hybrid days are Tuesday and Thursday. Candidates must live in the United States.

What you will be doing:

• Analyzing customer accounts and identifying high risk customers that require action

• Promotes and demonstrates a commitment to quality and timely processing of all Accounts Receivable tasks

• Ensure prompt and accurate billing, collections and cash applications to minimize billing errors and collections

• Provide financial, operational, and general business reporting on a consistent basis.

• Assist with compiling information for auditors 

• Work with internal departments to research issues, and provide support

• Work with the AR team on process improvements

• Run weekly AR reports and provide input regarding collection status and help with forecasting cash collections

• Assist with month-end close and analysis of AR allowance

• Assist with customer relations, special projects, AR process improvement, and compliance matters

What we are looking for: 

• 2+ years of experience in Finance or equivalent experience in a fast-paced environment

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field preferred

• Technical Skills: G Suite, Intermediate Excel

• Exceptional customer service, data entry, and organizational skills

• Capability to perform multiple tasks with changing priorities and to follow through to completion on all assignments

Additional Details:

• This position is located in Denver, CO and includes competitive pay, flexible time off, benefits package (including medical, dental, vision), Lifestyle Spending Account, 401k match, and equity. Denver office perks include paid parking, bagel Thursdays, snacks and occasional meals.

• Base compensation range: $60,000-$75,000. This compensation range is specific to the United States labor market and may be adjusted based on actual experience. Total compensation for this role also includes a variable component in addition to base salary.
