Join Our Dynamic Team as an Part Time AR/AP Representative!

Your Responsibilities:

• Assess Credit Worthiness: Utilize our internal software to evaluate the creditworthiness of new accounts, ensuring our business partners are reliable and trustworthy
• Order Management: Research and release new orders that come into our daily queue, ensuring timely and accurate processing
• Collections: Make outbound calls to customers to collect past due balances, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor
• Customer Support: Answer phones and respond to customer inquiries regarding account information, billing, and invoicing, providing top-notch service
• Customer Records: Set up and maintain customer records within our internal system, ensuring data accuracy and completeness
• Email Management: Manage several departmental email accounts, answering customer questions and forwarding emails as necessary
• Collections Correspondence: Send out letters for past due balances to facilitate timely collections
• Credit Requests: Request credits for customers experiencing issues or product concerns, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
• Credit Memos: Review and type credit memos to apply to customer accounts within our ERP system
• Sales Reporting: Assist the Team Lead with sales reporting and daily tasks, contributing to the overall success of the team
• Returns Processing: Assist in the processing of returns, ensuring all returns are handled efficiently and accurately
• Invoice Processing: Process invoices within our ERP system, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing
• Professional Chats: Maintain professional chats within our phone software to ensure customers are assisted promptly and effectively
• Adaptability and Innovation: Demonstrate a willingness to face new challenges and present innovative ideas that showcase your ability to adapt to change

Your Shift:

• Monday - Friday 9:00am-2:00pm (with one potential day off per week) Flexible hours available

• In office Tuesday - Thursday & work from home on Mondays and Fridays

• Additional hours may be available during key points of our busy season

You Must Have:

• Familiarity with MS Office suite

• Excellent verbal and written skills

• Proficient in typing/10 key entry

• Ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task is a must and be able to work well in a team environment

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment, and manage several tasks / projects at one time

We Would Also Prefer:

• High School graduate or the equivalent

• 2+ years’ experience in a similar role

• Previous collections/customer service experience

• ERP Experience Preferred
