AR/AP Specialist
Job Description
What You Will Do:
- Manage AP processes for the company - 50%
- Accurately processing all invoices
- Preparation of weekly check run and other payments.
- Resolving invoice discrepancies
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Communicating regularly with vendors and employees
- Administering and reconciling monthly company credit accounts
- Assisting in preparing annual 1099 forms as needed
- Coordinating and monitoring all vendor setup forms
- Reconciling AP related accounts monthly
- Providing aged payables reporting and other ad hoc reporting on a weekly basis to management
- Manage AR processes for the company - 50%
- Ensuring accurate data entry, coding, and allocation of assigned customer invoices
- Ensuring accuracy and efficiency of operations, processing and monitoring incoming payments from customers
- Securing revenue by verifying and posting receipts timely
- Following up on aged receivables and working with sales as necessary to resolve discrepancies
- Providing aged receivables reporting and other ad hoc reporting on a weekly basis to management
- Managing customer deductions and clearing them with a sense of urgency
- Reconcile assigned AR related accounts monthly
- Special Projects as needed or requested from the Accounting Manager or Controller
Requirements

- Comfortable with changing environments and has the ability to quickly adapt
- Enthusiasm for the Dyper mission and culture with an eagerness to become a part of a collaborative, inclusive, and dynamic team
You Will Succeed With:
- Associates Degree or higher-level education in accounting or related field (preferred)
- 3+ years of accrual accounting experience required in the following:
- Accounts Payable
- Accounts Receivable
- Strong Excel skills
- Accounting software experience with preference being given to mid to large sized ERPs such as NetSuite
- Well-organized with ability to prioritize
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
Nice to Have:• Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or ecommerce experience preferred• Experience using Google Workspace
