Arcade Supervisor - MGM Grand

THE JOB:

The Arcade Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the vending department, including managing the booking schedule and availability of VR packages. This role also involves supervising and scheduling a team of 10 employees. All responsibilities must be carried out in alignment with departmental and property policies, procedures, and guidelines.

THE STARTING RATE: $18.57/hr plus commission

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Manage vending department and analyze arcade game mix and recommend removing or adding games

• Monitor and approve departmental purchases as well as prepare monthly and annual forecasts and budgets

• Hire and train department employees and monitor FTE and overtime

• Greet guests with a welcoming attitude, provide excellent service, promote arcade games and VR experiences, sell tickets, and handle cash transactions accurately

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all equipment, enforce game rules, monitor gameplay, manage prize inventory

• Handle guest complaints and concerns

• Create, coordinate and execute operational plan for groups and special events

• Ensure safety procedures are followed and evacuation training is administered

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• One (1) year of theme park or arcade experience

• Work varied shift, to include weekends and holidays

• Experience working in a similar resort setting

• Able to lead and mentor a team

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
