Archer Developer Sr. (Enterprise Risk Management Systems)

OVERVIEW

The Enterprise Risk Management Systems (ERM Systems) organization delivers business solutions utilizing a combination of commercial off-the-shelf products and custom developed software. The Senior Archer Developer will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and support of applications in this environment. In-depth knowledge of the Archer platform and expertise in the integration of different enterprise system components will be necessary prerequisites for this role. Archer expertise should include knowledge of application configuration and development, use of ODAs, report development, APIs, and publishing. Related skills should include knowledge and experience with Oracle ODI, SQL, and Python.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on Archer Development while supporting legacy applications and implementing customized workflow and applications.
• Provide guidance for architecture design and development of Custom Applications, Solutions, Questionnaires.
• Identify technical opportunities and risks to improve the overall quality and resiliency of applications in partnership with other application development team members
• Ensure technology requirements and challenges are resolved in a consistent and timely manner
• Research and evaluate new technologies/tools/software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating their capabilities in line with the technology strategy of the organization
• Work with the business and systems teams to identify the right architecture for implementing new solutions
• Support the systems and business teams with estimates, analysis, design, development, performance, scalability, and benchmark test guidance and providing subject matter expertise in technology and design
• Provide exceptional system support for business inquiries, tools, and applications
• Strong organizational skills and efficient time management
• Demonstrate a passion for learning and willingness to adopt new technologies

Qualifications & Technical Skills

• Bachelor's in computer science and related work experience
• Mastery in Archer front-end and back-end systems
• Minimum of 3-5 years of technical experience in architecture, design and development of applications utilizing a wide range of technologies
• Ability to build solutions from scratch, or decipher existing solutions and fully understand customized workflows, applications, and other existing items
• Experience in building Archer advanced workflow and data publishing -Archer certifications a plus
• Experience in data feeds: all types including SQL feeds, Archer to Archer feeds, and XSLT custom transform in data feed
• Experience in Mail Merge development, permissions, dashboards/reports, DDEs development, and notifications development
• Experience in Python and Java Script coding
• Understanding of Archer API
• Understanding of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
• Working experience with Web Services, REST APIs, etc.
• Working experience with relational databases such as Oracle/DB2/SQL Server
• Experience with version control using GIT, JIRA and other Dev Tools
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with business and technology teams
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Create practical, robust, and scalable architectures and solutions
• Experience in Job Scheduling and batch scripting is a plus

BBH's compensation program includes base salary, discretionary bonuses, and profit-sharing. The anticipated base salary range for this role is $95,000 to $135,000, which is specific to Jersey City, NJ and may differ in other locations due to cost of living and labor considerations.
