Envestnet Financial Technologies, Inc. seeks Architect in Raleigh, NC.

Duties: Understand application layers of Yodlee Architecture with active participation in creating and evolving Product and Technology Roadmap. Pivot in migrating application to cloud environment (AWS). Understand existing code and build POCs. Collaborate with other Architects to create and maintain System Architecture, roadmap, requirements, and interfaces. Mentor multiple product development teams in architecture best practices and processes to ensure superior quality and system homogeneity. Develop tools and processes to facilitate improved development and conformance to standards.

This position requires a Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Information Systems, Electronic Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, plus 12 years of experience in software development or a related field. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with: (1) Utilizing Enterprise Java and Web-based Application Architecture and Design to create and improve product and technology roadmaps; (2) Using Object-Oriented Design, Java Technologies, Web Services (SOAP, REST), HTTP, HTPPS, XML, Spring Framework, Spring boot, Java Script, CSS, HTML5, Ajax, and JSON to develop proof of concept and modernize existing applications and products; (3) Using Java Script frameworks including React and Angular to develop and maintain UI Frameworks; (4) Migrating legacy and monolithic code to Cloud; (5) Designing common scalable components; (6) Utilizing microservices architecture and design patterns (DDD, Event sourcing) to develop new frameworks and services through conversion of monolithic applications to Domain Driven Event based micro services; (7) Creating CI/CD pipelines, flows and automation for build and deploy; (8) Utilizing Linux and Windows based servers as a part of server level activities relating to production and critical environments; (9) Creating Technical Design Documents using UML, Visio, or other similar design tools; and (10) Refactoring and re-engineering large enterprise systems. Telecommuting permitted.
