Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architect Designer to join our team! In this role you will get to compile data, specifications, rough sketches, etc., and formalizes them into working drawings and/or models. The incumbent at this level has increasing proficiency in the utilization of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and company procedures.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Produceing CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards for specific architectural or interior design tasks from general design information in accordance with established standards, procedures, and client requirements.
• Utilizes technical manuals to ensure compliance with required codes and standards.
• Compiles data and performs dimensional and routine calculations required for the preparation of drawings and design layouts.
• Produces drawings and specifications that have been red-lined by others.
• Researches and develops design and product solutions and presents them for consideration.
• Inspects architectural or interior design features on project sites and records conditions.
• Interfaces with other project team members to set goals and meet shared deadlines.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design (or equivalent) is required with 1-3 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree and 2+ years of experience as an Architectural or Interior Design Co-op Student.
• Requires working knowledge of architectural and/or interior design standards, practices, and techniques, as well as a demonstrated proficiency in sketching, rendering, model-building, and presentation drawing.
• Proficiency in CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with architectural and interior design is also required.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Completion of NCARB Intern Development Program and beginning of licensure track is preferred.
• Revit Knowledge and Exp is a Plus

Salary Range:

$23.27 - $40.72
