This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Architect - HCIT Solutions (Remote). This role is pivotal in implementing health IT solutions that transform care delivery in Canada. You will work collaboratively with project managers and consultants to ensure the effective rollout of digital solutions such as Sunrise, dbMotion, and others. Your expertise will drive the integration of innovative technology into healthcare, ultimately aiming to elevate community health standards. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to influence the future of healthcare technology while solving complex challenges in the industry.
Accountabilities
Assist development teams in selecting appropriate technical frameworks and design patterns.Develop and implement solutions and model architecture based on business requirements.Create specifications and designs for application projects including ETL and BI integrations.Lead groups to analyze and document solution options and reach consensus on requirements.Facilitate design sessions to identify desired functionality for data models and database designs.Provide guidance on database development standards and integration flows.Own the design of end-to-end solutions and lead solution validation tests.Ensure delivery of well-designed solutions that meet functional and technical requirements.Implement best practices for technical deliverables.Support solution implementation as a subject matter expert.Maintain deep technical knowledge of ETL, BI, and app integrations.Conduct proof-of-concept tests for complex integration issues.Assist project management in planning technical aspects of projects.Provide updates on project status and mentor junior developers.Perform detailed technical reviews of design implementations.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, or equivalent experience.At least 7 years of relevant project management experience; 2-3 years in healthcare.Strong knowledge of various healthcare configurations (acute, ambulatory, financials, etc.).Experience with Altera Sunrise or other EMR configurations like Epic or Cerner preferred.Understanding of architecture principles and healthcare technology standards.Motivated to create business value through technology.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Benefits
