About the Role
As the Area Account Manager (AAM) located within the South Florida Region, you will be responsible for prospecting and developing business within the assigned market, establishing relationships with key decision-makers and driving the sales process from prospect through close under the guidance of the Regional Sales Manager. You will be responsible for detailed knowledge of the complete portfolio of Brivo solutions as well as general knowledge of components and systems supported through integration (such as Multifamily applications, Visitor Management, Elevator Control, IP video, and wireless locks).
In this outside sales position, based in the South Florida market, you will also be expected to:
- Manage the South Florida area.
- Work in tandem with Regional Technical Managers, Enterprise Sales and internal support resources to support partners and drive sales.
- Build understanding of the Brivo security platform, including supported devices and integrations and be able to effectively demonstrate and communicate the capabilities to prospects.
- Travel at least 75% throughout the assigned area.
- Recruit, on board, and grow channel partners.
- Respond to customer requests for information in a timely manner.
- Provide system sales and product training for channel partners.
About You
- Live in the Greater South Florida region.
- Direct channel field sales experience (this is NOT an overlay or inside sales position).
- Track record of prospecting, qualifying, recruiting and supporting new dealer opportunities.
- Minimum of two years sales experience preferably within the security industry, SaaS, software. sales, or information security and have experience selling in a defined territory.
- Demonstrate self-confidence, energy and enthusiasm in a professional manner.
- Present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized way.
- Demonstrated ability to meet/exceed a quota on a consistent basis.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (SFDC), Google Apps (Docs/Sheets/Slides, etc), and other business tools.
- Bachelor’s degree and/or directly related sales experience.
