MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field appropriate to the work of position AND FOUR years of managerial experience in the hotel industry that demonstrates knowledge of business practices, program and financial management, branded concepts and administrative procedures that are relative to the food and hospitality industry., OR an appropriate combination of education and experience that demonstrates possession of knowledge and skill equivalent to that gained in the above.
A Certified Hotel Supervisor designation is preferred.
Ability to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of policies, procedures, and operational programs.
Must demonstrate skills in communicating effectively, both orally and in writing.
Must demonstrate the ability to deal effectively with supervisors, subordinates, vendors and the public.

To ensure compliance with an applicable preliminary nationwide injunction, which may be supplemented, modified, or vacated, depending on the course of ongoing litigation, the Federal Government will take no action to implement or enforce the COVID-19 vaccination requirement pursuant to Executive Order 14043 on Requiring Coronavirus Disease 2019 Vaccination for Federal Employees. Therefore, to the extent a Federal job announcement includes the requirement that applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 pursuant to Executive Order 14043, that requirement does not currently apply. Federal agencies may request information regarding the vaccination status of selected applicants for the purposes of implementing other workplace safety protocols, such as protocols related to masking, physical distancing, testing, travel, and quarantine.

Direct Deposit of total NET pay is mandatory as a condition of employment for all appointments to positions within MCCS.
