Armed Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their property. This role requires a proactive approach to security, utilizing skills in surveillance, conflict management, and law enforcement to prevent loss and ensure the safety of all individuals on-site. Duties • Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. • Operate CCTV systems to ensure comprehensive surveillance coverage. • Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, providing first aid as necessary. • Enforce rules and regulations to maintain order and safety within the premises. • Conduct thorough inspections of buildings, grounds, and equipment for security breaches. • Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary to report incidents or gather information. • Prepare detailed reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations for management review. • Engage in conflict management strategies to de-escalate potentially volatile situations. Qualifications • Previous experience in a security role preferred; military or law enforcement background is a plus. • Proficient in the use of surveillance equipment including CCTV systems. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Knowledge of loss prevention techniques and strategies. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Must possess a valid armed security license as required by state regulations. We have part time and full time armed opportunities available working either 4pm-9pm a couple days a week or 10pm-6am 3-4 nights a week.
