Armed Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Armed Security Officer will work in various settings, ensuring the protection of personnel and assets while enforcing company policies. Responsibilities • Patrol assigned areas to deter criminal activity and ensure safety. • Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to identify potential security breaches. • Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, utilizing conflict management skills to resolve issues. • Conduct thorough inspections of premises, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Provide assistance during emergencies, administering first aid or CPR when necessary. • Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required, maintaining professionalism at all times. • Document incidents and prepare detailed reports for management review. • Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and damage. Qualifications • Valid armed security officer certification is required. • Experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. • Proficiency in surveillance techniques and loss prevention strategies. • Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. • Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable. • Excellent observational skills with attention to detail. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
