Armed Security Officer

***HIRING IMMEDIATELY*** Growing security company is currently accepting applications for the position of Armed Security Officer in various locations in Texas such as Houston, San Antonio, Waco, Abilene, Dallas, etc. The successful candidate will maintains safe and secure environment for clients by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. You will identify and report incidents at assigned client sites, and will be responsible for the security and safety of our clients' properties. The ideal Security Officer will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. Tasks: • Provide excellent customer service. • Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence. • Protect the clients’ assets relative to theft, assault, fire and other safety issues. • Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers. • Immediately respond to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to employees and customers. • Adhere to all company service and operating standards. • Apprehend and detain perpetrators according to legal protocol before arrival of authorities. • Maintain organization's stability and reputation by complying with local, state and federal regulations. • Complete daily reports DAR by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures. • Secure all exits, doors and windows after end of operations. Skills and Requirements: • 21+ years of age. • High School Diploma or GED required. • Must have good writing and reading skills. • Must be able to pass a drug and criminal background check. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Excellent surveillance and observation skills. • Capable of following complex instructions. • Knowledge of security operations and procedures. • Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety. Experience: • Armed Security: 1 year (Preferred) Education: • High school (Required) License: • Driver License (Required) • Level 2 Certified (Required) • Level 3 Certified (Required) • CPR (Preferred) Work authorization: • United States (Required) .
