Art Manager

Summary

Aristocrat is seeking an Art Manager to join our BASH GAMES STUDIO team in Brookhaven, GA. As the leader of our art department, you will be responsible for translating the business and project strategy into team strategy and facilitate the execution of it. Additionally, you will help set the artistic vision and direction for all of the games in our portfolio, from concept through completion.

The role of Art Manager will be to work with the Game Design Team and studio leadership to establish an artistic vision for all of our products, while leading and managing a geographically diverse art team to execute on

that vision through the concept, production, and testing phases of development, ensuring timeliness and quality. The Art Manager will also facilitate the communication between the Art team, Developers, Operations, Game

Design, Audio and other areas of the company.

This role will provide the opportunity to be hands-on with concepting new and innovative games, while overseeing the team through the production of these concepts. It will also manage the art team across the

United States and India, including illustrators, animators, graphic designers, 3D artists, and other support roles. The Art Manager will also contribute to establishing the studio strategy and portfolio by bringing industry

insights and trends from a visual perspective to the concept phase of development. This role will have a direct impact on the creative direction of our studio, with a focus on creating and delivering the best and most

innovative slot games in the world!

International travel may be required throughout the year. This role is a full-time in office position.

What You'll Do

• Manage art production with team members across different locations and time zones
• Lead the art team in the execution of the ideas and concepts
• Offer industry insights and trends from an artistic perspective to help shape the portfolio
• Coordinate art schedules and resources
• Document creative standards for slot games, ensuring assets align respectively
• Design the creative and artistic vision for game concepts
• Own art-related tasks from internal and external game reviews and artwork reviews
• Participate in the ideation of game concepts
• Create concept art - including static images, storyboards, animatics, etc.
• Supervise the production art team to realize a compelling product
• POC for artists regarding gameplay, bugs, assets, requirements, optimization, general feedback
• QA each game with particular focus on art an animation
• Track artist and animator availability
• Occasional travel to India to further support remote art team
• All other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• 7+ years of casino/social/real money gaming (RMG) game development experience required
• 3+ years of Art Lead and/or Art Management experience
• Must be highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and execute multiple projects simultaneously
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to work with various cultures and time zones.
• Detailed knowledge of casino gaming industry and trends
• Demonstrated understanding of game production and art processes across all art disciplines
• Bachelor's degree in Art, Animation or visual arts
• Proficiency in tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, etc.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Jira, and other project management and QA tools
