Applied Materials' Display CVD Department is searching for an AI engineer intern to join our team in summer 2024! The position will entail the following:

• Conduct a comprehensive analysis of our organization's existing processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas where AI can be leveraged to improve productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases and applications that have the potential to enhance productivity across various departments.
• Work closely with stakeholders to design and develop AI-based solutions that address productivity challenges, automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• Student must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Student must be in good academic standing at their university, with a preferred GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong understanding of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision, and robotic process automation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into AI solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Compensation

$35 - 41 per hour

The rate offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and education level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
