The Corporate Services Department within Global Corporate Solutions (GCSCS) consists of multiple specialized teams that provide a wide range of essential services to World Bank Group operations while also enhancing staff experience. Within GCSCS, the Interactive Media Services team (GCSIM) focuses on delivering affordable, innovative, media products to WBG internal clients by providing the highest level of quality and service. The Interactive Media team is responsible for services in the areas of video production, photography services and immersive media (virtual and augmented reality, VR/AR).

The VR/AR Program Manager works in a team with other staff and consultants to perform a range of duties involved in the production of immersive media projects, client engagement and research of interactive technology. The Program Manager coordinates projects that range from 360 video production and VR films, interactive media showcases, CGI/3D virtual experiences, immersive learning and applications, event activations, and augmented reality pieces, among other digital products, to consultancy and related services.

Duties and Accountabilities• Leads the VR/AR Program by overseeing daily production and business operation.• Provides direction to team of staff, consultants and vendors in order to achieve highest quality VR/AR products while ensuring guidelines regarding style, storyline and experiential approach.• Supervises the on-time and orderly flow of all interactive media projects, from job initiation to its final delivery and billing. • Ensures consistent, high-quality service by developing and maintaining dedicated, strong relationships with interactive media clients.• Determines project assignments and monitors workload of all VR/AR production team members.• Establishes direct client relations to enable the use of interactive media for their individual projects by providing insight into the potential of using new media. • Works with and develops external multimedia vendors by creating a fluid communication avenue and strong milestone review processes. • Staff and Resource Management Responsibilities• Sets daily priorities, deliverables, and results for team members by overseeing the work and schedule of full-time and short-term staff.• Develops project schedules, proposals, and related reporting as required.• Ensures that project schedules are followed, and budgets are adhered to.• Supports high-level production projects by coordinating logistics efforts related to country on-site requirements.

Business Management Responsibilities• Leads vendor development efforts by identifying key partners that can participate in the production of WBG interactive projects.• Ensures cost recovery goals are achieved by actively tracking project expenses and tailoring estimating efforts. • Actively contributes to business development functions showcasing the value of interactive media products towards WBG projects and goals.• Keeps up with the latest immersive media technologies in the industry and provides recommendations for any software or hardware to further the team's product offering.• Collaborates across multiple GCS Business Services units and ensures team provides support and production assistance by integrating with other GCS units.

Client Interaction Responsibilities• Oversees the flow of information between client and production staff throughout project development. • Monitors work completion on schedule and with expected quality levels.• Creates project proposals with solid visual and creative aids, including technical and storytelling aspects, project timelines, and budget considerations.• Engages with clients to tailor storylines and script contents in addition to messaging and user experiential objectives inside immersive project.

Selection Criteria

• Master's degree with 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience in the fields of the fields of visual arts, photography, video production or similar disciplines or bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience.• Effective problem-solving skills and experience leading talented media teams in a production environment outputting high-end interactive media projects in a corporate setting.• Good organizational skills and ability to work capably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment, managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.• Effective verbal and written communication skills, including e-mail proficiency and ability to follow directions.• Must be able to have face-to-face meetings with clients as needed.• Project proven experience employing VR and AR immersive concepts, software interfaces, hardware and industry workflows.• Self-starter with ability to learn new skills and follow industry technology changes.• Ability to deal sensitively in a multi-cultural environment and to build effective working relations with clients and colleagues in a team-based environment.
