It is our goal to provide the training mentoring and workload required to develop our professionals into fully competent service providers. To support this goal we encourage all of our team not only to be leaders in their respective areas of technical expertise but to also learn key consulting skills such as managing budgets and schedules communicating with clients marketing/business development and presenting to various audiences. We offer over 40 in-house training programs to assist with developing these skills. This approach allows our employees to develop professionally and pursue various career paths without ever leaving the HDR family.

Primary Responsibilities

In the role of Civil EIT/Coordinator, we'll count on you to:
• Assist the Senior Engineer with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation and graphic presentation
• Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout and drainage
• Perform routine engineering assignments requiring application of standard techniques and procedures
• Complete projects with clear, specified objectives and limited variables
• Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects
• Work independently on small projects, or assist more-senior engineers on larger projects
• Perform other duties as needed

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, MicroStation a plus
• An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must

Preferred Qualifications
• EIT certification strongly preferred. Candidates hired without their EIT will have the title of 'Coordinator' and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.
