In this highly visible role as our Manager of Micron's ASIC Analog Layout team, you will have a key role in shaping Micron's analog layouts for ASICs used in Micron's internally developed testers and controller IP. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of success in the layout of high-speed circuits in deep sub-micron technologies. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the team's work, managing projects, and ensuring all designs meet Micron's high standards of quality.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Manage a highly skilled high-speed layout team working on deep sub-micron technology nodes (5 - 28 nm).
• Drive the development of layout methodology of best practices.
• Take ownership of layout deliverables and plan integration.
• Identify and resolve gaps in methodology.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to individual contributors.
• Track progress and report metrics to project and executive management.
• Assist in resource scheduling for forward load projections.

• Mentor, supervise, and resolve conflicts on the team.
• Build and grow a high-impact team of world-class talents, fostering environment of excellence, innovation, and collaboration.

SKILLS required:

• Expert with Cadence layout tools.
• High proficiency to interpret and resolve issues in LVS, DRC, and ERC reports.
• Prior experience managing a high-speed ASIC analog layout team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and prioritize the most important issues and tasks.
• Candidate should have a deep understanding of analog layout fundamentals and understand tradeoffs in methodology.
• Ability to develop scripts (SKILL, PVL, Python, etc.) and software to improve team productivity is a plus.
• Intimate knowledge/customization of virtuoso layout, DRC rules decks, and other industry standard tools a plus.

• 5nm (or lower) experience a plus.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering and 8+ years of ASIC analog layout experience required.
• OR A.A. in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years of ASIC analog layout experience required.
• 2+ years of management or technical leadership experience required.
• Availability outside standard work hours, when required to meet critical project milestones.
