American Display and Fixture, a Marketing Alliance Group company, has an immediate full-time opening for an experienced manufacturing Lead person to work as a part of our 1st shift Assembly operation in Chattanooga, TN.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assure that assembly production of quality goods is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
• System transactions related to inventory and production are performed correctly and timely.
• A culture of responsibility and accountability.

Position Requirements:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in lead position in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to utilize the tact and diplomacy required to foster a team environment while keeping production on schedule.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast paced, deadline driven environment, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read technical drawings and forklift certification is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting: Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to position.
• Push/Pull: Maximum force pushed/pulled: Using upper extremities to exert force in order to draw, haul or tug objects in a sustained motion.
• Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction
• Stooping: Bending body downward and forward by bending spine at the waist.
• Standing: Standing for sustained periods of time.
• Walking: Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.
• Exerts up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
