Asset Management - Semiconductor Equity Research Analyst - Vice President

J.P. Morgan Asset Management is a leading investment manager for institutions, financial intermediaries and individual investors worldwide. It offers investment management across all major asset classes including equities, fixed income, alternatives, multi-asset and money market funds.

As a Semiconductor Equity Research Analyst Vice President in Asset Management China, you will be responsible for the investment strategy and stock selection of the covered industries, seizing investment opportunities and maintaining close contact with fund managers and head of investment and research.

Job responsibilities
1. Manage investment strategy and stock selection of the covered industries, seizing investment opportunities and maintaining close contact with fund managers and head of investment and research.

2. Gain excess returns through in-depth research of fundamentals, and lead the market by correctly judging the investment timing.
3. Continue to deepen the analytical ability in macro policy and resource mining, construct industry simulation portfolio, in order to realistically outperform the benchmark and obtain excess returns.
4. Complete morning meetings, weekly meetings and daily tracking reports in accordance with company and departmental rules and regulations.
5. Participate in training and seminars in a timely manner.
6. Fulfill other tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
1. Master's degree or above, major in finance, economics or other related fields.
2. More than 3 years of relevant industry experience.
3. Strong industry/company research and analysis and writing skills.
4. Good interpersonal communication skills, teamwork spirit, leadership skills, time management and stress capacity.
5. Have certain communication skills in English and Chinese.
6. Have AMAC qualification.
