Asset & Wealth Management-Hyderabad-Vice President-Software Engineering

An exciting opportunity to work at the core of a large multi-year project to build one of the key pillars of the AWM technology platform. The role involves extensive in-depth analysis and documentation of our existing PWM client and account in order to drive the requirements definitions and data storage models for our new strategic applications.

How will you fulfill your potential

Work closely with Product, Technology and Operations leads from multiple AWM business units to define and build out the strategic Client Onboarding application , data distribution and the associated data model (LDM)

Analyze the current onboarding systems to identify and document their rules and functionality.

Write complex data queries in our highly normalized databases to analyze existing data in order to facilitate strategic decision making by Product and Operations.

Work closely with multiple Onboarding teams within AWM to define a common strategic Onboarding data model, thus ensuring a consistent model that is usable by all business units.

Define the data transformation requirements to extract and load data from existing sources into the strategic model.

Work closely with Technology teams to ensure accurate and complete implementation through all layers of the technology stack, and work with Operations, Product and Testing teams to verify data quality and accuracy.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

Strong knowledge of SQL with experience working with large enterprise-wide relational databases (Sybase, DB2, Oracle etc)

Strong knowledge of Java

Good communication and documentation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with multiple teams, people, and management levels

Familiarity with tools such as Gitlab, Intellij, maven, Confluence, Jira, Excel

Self-driven individual with ability to work independently, and with excellent time management and organizational skills

An ability to drive to goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail

Excellent judgment, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working within Agile methodology

Preferred Qualifications

Experience of data analysis within large enterprise-wide applications, preferably within Client Onboarding

Experience in Financial Services / Industry

Experience working with global teams
