Our Transportation and Logistics Practice specializes in insurance programs designed for logistics companies both domestically and internationally. Our experienced team of brokers brings an unparalleled level of service and expertise to this evolving niche market. We have an exciting growth opportunity for a highly motivated and entrepreneurial individual to join our team in Chicago, where you will have the opportunity to grow your experience by supporting our Transportation and Logistics team with all aspects of client sales and service.Responsibilities
Position Responsibilies:Â
- Support Logistics Liability Program
- Coordinate policy documents for compliance, surplus lines filings
- Client outreach for policy renewals
- Review policies and endorsements for client distribution
- Request Loss Runs from Insurance Markets
- Provide general customer service support within operations team
- Process changes in agency management system
- Process Certificates of Insurance requests
- Continually seek out and recommend process improvements
- Must obtain Property and Casualty license within a year of hire
Experience Requirements
- College Degree
- 1+ years’ experience in a similar role within a Commercial Lines insurance brokerage preferred
- Required skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to form relationships at all levels
- Close attention to detail and ability to problem solve
- The ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced while delivering high quality results
- A client-first and flexible attitude, with a focus on solutions
