Job Description

The ideal candidate for the Assistant Controller role will have 5-10 years progressive accounting experience. They will already know the event planning industry or have project accounting experience. The ideal candidate is willing and able to do all required accounting functions ranging from program reconciliations, journal entries, recurring entries, fixed assets, prepaid entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, notes payable, notes receivable, inter-company billing, inter-company payables and receivables, sales and use tax, payroll and program management for Unbridled Solutions and all related entities. This candidate will be responsible for all matters related to tax for Cañon City projects and entities.
We are a small department in need of an intelligent, self-motivated person to manage the financial process for our related entities, as well as successfully execute essential department functions such as payroll and program reconciliations. This person will not be micro-managed, so it is imperative you are a self-starter that can work successfully, accurately, and timely with limited supervision.

•  Strong research and reconciliation skills required
•  Ability to think through new issues that may arise and come up with solutions on own
•  Must understand debits and credits and have experience posting journal entries, managing cash flows, and analyzing balance sheets and income statements
•  Technically savvy – Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Office experience required
•  Experience with financial accounting systems required; Deltek Vantagepoint, nd/or QuickBooks Online software a plus

What you would be doing at Unbridled:

•  Program Reconciliations for Unbridled Media and Intentionally Giftd
•  Vendor cost controls updated and accurate
•  Inter-Department billing done accurately and timely
•  Generate final program invoice or refund vouchers timely
•  Assist with all aspects of program recons for other departments as needed
•  Process semi-monthly payroll for all entities through Oasis Outsourcing
•  Month-end close to include:
  •  Accounts Payable
  •  Accounts Receivable
•  Intercompany billing and payroll for Unbridled Travel, Unbridled Holdings, UnbridledACTS, Unbridled Connect, Unbridled Contractors, Unbridled Media, Intentionally Giftd, CreateGate, CCU Lifebox and any other entity as needed
•  Fixed Asset reconciliation and monthly depreciation journal entries for all entities
•  Prepaid reconciliation and expense entry
•  Assist with financial statement reviews
• Ensure timely entry, upload and payment of our employee 401(k) contributions
• Manage special projects related to Holdings entities in Canon City.
