The Impact You Will Make:
As Assistant Counsel, you will join our whip-smart team of in-house lawyers to tackle a range of commercial contracts and related projects from NDAs, sophisticated sales agreements, and procurement of services (including SaaS), to business licensing and registration, regulatory compliance, and litigation and claims. You will interact directly with our business teams, update business-facing and legal team playbooks, and represent the legal team in the contract lifecycle process with keen dedication to client-focused service. You will also support litigation and government investigations through coordination of discovery, document collection and witness preparation. The diverse matters you will handle will challenge you to think creatively and pragmatically, all while ensuring that the business' needs are met.

This candidate will work from any of our NYC, Boston, or Chicago offices (hybrid schedule).
New York Salary Range: $113k - $147k
The Base Pay component of our Total Rewards package is based on a variety of factors including but not limited to: job responsibilities, location, experience and, education/certifications. In addition to the pay component, this role may be eligible for equity and benefits as part of the Total Rewards package. The Total Rewards package will be determined at the time a contingent offer is made.

What You Bring To The Table:
- JD degree required; admitted and in good standing in one of the following state bars: Illinois, New York, or Massachusetts
- 2-4 years practicing law with a focus on drafting, negotiating, and maintaining a range of commercial agreements (in-house experience a plus!)
- Excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to:
- balance competing projects in a fast-paced environment
- learn quickly and take on challenging new projects
- prioritize and follow-through on numerous projects simultaneously
- work autonomously while paying attention to detail
- Must be a team player who is willing to pitch in where needed in a fast-paced company
