Job Description

The role:

The Assistant Creative Team Lead understands the equities and objectives of the Global Mass brands, understands brand competitors and the category as a whole within CPG as well as Point of Purchase. They are the brand expert responsible for maintaining standards for all Creative Marketing generated activity against an assigned brand/project and work with Global and Local Marketing Brand teams to deploy the Global/Local Creative Strategies. 

Responsible for supporting and partnering with Marketing, Sales, and Trade in strategic conversations, as well as tactical regarding program objectives, design specifications, coordination, pricing, timing, and financials for the most efficient, cost effective, and highest-quality execution of the instore point of purchase display and promotional packaging for the US. Project management, marketing + POP knowledge, and managing outside vendor relationships are key to this role. The role is responsible for leading projects through the development process ensuring it is on budget, on time, within the provided strategic guidelines for each brand.

The role enhances the level of service and productivity of the brands by managing the external relationships as well as the internal relationships. Responsible for overseeing all relevant phases of a project through internal systems and strong communication with external vendors and internal cross-functional teams.

What you will do:

  • Responsible for the collaborative relationship with Trade Marketing Managers and Marketing for their brands. Responsible for on budget, on-time, and on-strategy POP executions.
  • Collaboration and communication with internal customers such as Trade Marketing Managers, Marketing, and Sales regarding in-store point of purchase program needs.
  • Collaboration and communication with outside agencies such as artwork agency, display sourcing vendors.
  • Responsible for financials process, updates, and approval through the organization.
  • Responsible for project timelines, structural guidelines, print details, retail guidelines and awareness of updates, and artwork development and approval.
  • Leading strategic POP annual planning for designated brands, including recommendations to optimize plan based on learnings delivered from prior year performance.

What you will need:

  • Must have a Bachelors degree
  • Have an understanding of different cultures and sensitivity to other languages is a must
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Project Manager related role
  • Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) experience as well as Point of Purchase experience is necessary
  • Experience with beauty brands is a plus but not necessary
  • Must understand related costs and how the scope of each initiative impacts the budget
  • Must have excellent presentation and clear organized communication is essential. Must exercise a high attention to detail

A reasonable salary range is:  $60,000 - $80,000.
