We are looking for a full-time writer and editor to support all verticals, but primarily our health vertical, at mindbodygreen. This person should have an insatiable curiosity about the health and well-being space and always be looking for the next big thing in wellness. They will be responsible for writing 1 to 3 articles per day, managing the mindbodygreen podcast process, and writing editions of the long game, our flagship longevity-focused newsletter. For the podcast process, this person will write the show notes and corresponding podcast articles, and they are responsible for identifying social-friendly clips for Instagram and TikTok and writing titles and thumbnails for YouTube.

• Pitch and write content to captivate the mindbodygreen audience.

• Listen to and develop the content for the weekly mindbodygreen podcast (write show notes, generate social content, write articles, etc).

• Help execute the strategy for the health and lifestyle verticals.

• Work with contributors on article ideas and deadlines.

• Write sends of the long game, our longevity-based newsletter, and help with other editorialized newsletters.

• Ensure mindbodygreen’s health POV is strong across all content.

• Support our classes and coaching businesses with content monthly.

• Write an article per week for the commerce team. 

• 1 to 2 years of experience writing at an online publication.

• Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communications, health sciences, or a related field.

• A deep passion and an insatiable curiosity for holistic health & well-being.

• Have an understanding and appreciation for vitamins and supplements.

• Demonstrated experience in writing science-based, research-driven content.

• Constantly stays up-to-date with the latest product launches, health trends, and research. Adept at understanding studies and translating them into accessible content. 

• Ability to produce engaging, well-researched content quickly.

• Have a passion for excellence in editorial and a keen interest in the mindbodygreen mission.

• Experience authoring marketing copy and newsletters preferred

• All roles are remote first
