Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for proper accounting of transactions at the Factory.
• Ensuring that all the month-end books closure activities are completed within the defined timelines.
• Business partnering with the Plant team.
• Responsible for preparation of month end MIS reports on a timely basis
• Working closely with the Finance Manager to ensure proper accounting of financial transactions.
• Preparation of various adhoc MIS reports and submitting the same to the reporting authority within the timelines.
• Coordinating with the business team and the back-end team to ensure that invoices are processed within the timelines.
• Core member of the team that does periodic stock counts as per the stock count plan. And responsible for preparation of MIS report post the physical count.
• Coordinating with the internal and external auditors during the periodic Audits.
• Ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of Financial Controls at the Factory.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience
• Member of ICAN (Chartered Accountant, Nigeria)
• Working experience in SAP
• Proficient in MS Excel, Accounting, and Taxation.
• Experience working in a manufacturing firm
