Job SummaryÂ
Gain a holistic view of the publishing industry including competitive landscape, activation components and terminology, negotiation skills, best practices as well as daily stewardship tasks related to the print activation process. Â

Main Duties and ResponsibilitiesÂ
Support team in day-to-day tasks ranging from pre-planning to post buy/execution while also gaining knowledge of terms and best practices relating to print strategy and activation. Â
Â
Tasks will include but not limited to:Â

Data Collection; Assemble consideration sets and complete print rankers sourcing MRI data Â

RFP Submission; Coordinate submission process and communication with vendors, work with planner to review RFP submissions once received Â

Plan Building; Collect publication specific deadlines and information to compile supporting documents needed for the planning process, facilitate small scale negotiations, run Reach/Frequency in MRI software to inform plan deliveriesÂ

Plan Execution; Enter media plan into SBMS buying software, generate insertion orders, track receipt and confirm signatures, manage vendor communication regarding plan details, manage closing date calendars, assist in negotiating and implementing added valueÂ

Administrative Work; Coordinate vendor meetings, complete Horizon mandatory trainings, manage client positioning and added value reports, conduct GfK Starch analysis, assist in writing POVs, compile industry newsletter for the agencyÂ

Salary Range
$40,000.00 - $50,000.00
A successful applicant’s actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure/certifications, and equity. As an organization, we take an aptitude and competency-based hiring approach.
