Assistant Linehaul Coordinator
Job Description
The Assistant Linehaul Coordinator is responsible for supervising the team leads of the warehouse. He is in charge of providing them with the necessary equipment, ops fund, and manpower monitoring for inbound, outbound and staging areas in order to ensure the smooth flow of operations.
The Assistant Linehaul Coordinator reports directly to the Linehaul Operations Coordinator. He is in charge of reporting any anomalies in the usual flow of things such as lacking manpower, insufficient pcf, malfunctioning equipment, etc.
Main Duties:
- Disperse PCF to drivers/driver aides
- Monitor attendance of WH manpower
- Inspect functionality of WH equipment
- Create daily reports for costs, shipments, and ops
- Update MM department on status of staging
- Implement and sustain 5S standards during shift
- Ensure SOP compliance of team leads and warehouse staff
Qualiications:
- Vocational or Highschool Graduate
- With experience in warehousing and logistics
- Strong people management skills, specifically for blue-collar workers
- Strict and able to ensure policy and SOP compliance
- Can read and understand data
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting
