ABOUT YOUR ROLE:

• Overall management of origin logistics operations for finished goods shipment and documentation team/process, by coordinating with various parties: shippers / forwarders / sourcing team / inbound logistics team / etc. Provide logistical solutions to support business needs. Constantly look at optimizing logistics flow & arrangements to improve cost efficiency.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

You will be critical in delivering these activities but not limited to: 

• Manage a team of three on origins’ logistics operations for finished goods, which includes day-to-day management on logistics service providers to ensure service quality / coordination with shipper & sourcing team to ensure flow of goods in origins
• Deliver problem-solving to tackle all ad-hoc logistics issues happening in origins
• Manage one remote subordinate and own the overall documentation process, including but not limited to document timeliness / shipment visibility in system / EDI & ASN process flow with forwarders
• Drive airfreight forwarder’s monthly nomination process and spot shipment’s nomination process
• Take the lead on weekly volume forecasting and overall space & capacity issue
• Provide logistical solutions to support business needs
• Constantly look at optimizing logistics flow & arrangements to improve cost efficiency
• Support ad-hoc project’s implementation

WHAT WE WILL BE LOOKING FOR IN YOU:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and /or abilities required for the individual to be successful in this position. 

• 6-8 years of working experience in the logistics industry, preferably with experience in forwarding company
• Self-motivated and detail-oriented
• Strong sense of urgency and ownership
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Strong people management experience
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese, including Mandarin
• Act with a continuous improvement mindset
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel (including pivot & v-lookup)

Minimum Degree Held: Degree Holder
