Job Description

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The duties and responsibilities of this position consists of, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Active Participation in Month Closure and ensuring WD5 closure.
  • MIS reports and variance analysis.
  • Stat Audit and Internal Audit Coordination and ensure the audit timelines are effectively met.
  • Preparation of monthly reconciliations for the closing account balances and support them with adequate documentation. (ARCS)
  • Responsible for SG&A (Selling general and administrative) costs review monthly.
  • Preparation of Cash flow projections on a bi-weekly basis.
  • Co-ordinate with team members and review of GST data and returns on a regular basis.
  • Regular follow-up with team in submission of GSTR3B and GSTR1 on time. Ensure that all GST returns should be filed within the respective due dates as per GST Act.
  • Properly track all the RCM entries and ensure GST remittances are made adequately.
  • ITC Recon. Checks with GSTR 2B and ISD Distribution.
  • Keeping track of eligible input tax credit availability per the tax invoice received from vendors and constantly follow-up with vendors who are not filing GSTR-1.
  • Keeping track of GSTR2A data with books. Checking with the vendors on regular intervals who have not filed GSTR1 and if require, liaising with RFM's by proper communication channel viz. emails, phone calls etc.
  • Make ensure to file GST annual return (GSTR-9 / 9c) within timelines and ensure all the direct and indirect taxation deliverables regarding both Internal and Stat Audit are met on a timely basis with 100% accuracy.
  • Preparation of submission of workings with respect to notices received from both GST and Income tax officers to the consultants on a timely basis.
  • Regularly checking and finding of circulars/ notifications/ case laws with respect to GST and Income Tax on frequent basis and analyzing its applicability/ impact.
  • Providing need base assistance to internal and external teams with respect GST and Income Tax queries as and when required.
  • Ensure all the audit observations related to taxation are properly analyzed and necessary measures are taken so that the same observations are not repeated in the subsequent years audit.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or
  • related field
  • Minimum of 0-1 years' experience in of General Ledger accounting
  • Minimum 0-1 years' experience in GST and Income Tax Matters.
  • Fluent in English
  • One of the following certifications: CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Certified Management
  • Accountant).
  • Ability to travel up to 20% (domestic and international)

PREFERRED

  • Advanced knowledge of finance, accounting, collections, foreign currency, and regulatory requirements
  • Proficient in using financial software, systems, and cloud engineering services Ex: Oracle
  • Strong knowledge of IND GAAP and GST regulations.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite of Programs.
  • Strong ability to partner, consult and influence multiple stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and influence at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to understand, manage and communicate financial metrics, including P&L
