Assistant Manager - Asset Care

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

This role is responsible for executing the implementation of Asset Care/Manufacturing Excellence strategy and specific projects aligned with the USL Performance Ambition that focuses on improving operations discipline and standardization of manufacturing processes. The outcome required is to drive an Asset Care culture that measurably optimizes machine performance, improves the efficiency of processes and reduce manufacturing costs.

TYPICAL ROLE REQUIREMENTS

Qualification: Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree

Experience, Knowledge & skills:

10+ years of hands-on applicable experience
7+ years of Direct Consumer Goods manufacturing production/maintenance experience

• Demonstrated understanding and experience with Manufacturing Excellence principles
• Strong focus on Asset Care as well as 5S, TQM, and TPM
• Excellent planning and execution skills
