Job Title:Assistant Manager - EXIM & GST

Summary:Plan, Manage & Monitor in all aspect of Export, Import & GST operations.

Responsibilities Include:

• Manage the Export Import operation for IMEA region.
• Responsible for export / import shipments including pre and post shipment documents, documentary credit & customer requirements on shipment etc.,
• Responsible for Import shipments and span till customs clearance and goods receipt at warehouse
• Daily focus & interaction with the Freight forwarders, Customs house agents to ensure the process adherence and timely clearance with complaince.
• Coordination with origin forwarder for pick up, shipment booking, sailing, departures, etc.
• Fulfil all aspect related bilateral trade agreements – FTA, CEPA, etc.,
• Coordinate with finance, Customer service for exports proceeds, collection, and regularization.
• Awareness on all requirement & ensure compliance in all aspect of Customs, DGFT, Central Excise and GST law for receipt, issue, duty drawback, Incentive, and refund etc.,
• Responsible to execute all the export and import shipment as per plan are executed daily/weekly/ monthly basis to ensure organizations sales target are achieved.
• Ensures safe operations and follow compliance on national & international transportation regulations – IATA, IMDG, etc.,
• Monitor and review KPI’s as per SLA with all the Service providers.
• Execute, define, and run projects for cost to service optimization (VCP).
• Responsible to ensure cost control on demurrage, detention & other additional charges.
• Responsible for OTIF (On Time In Full delivery) performance.
• Responsible for custom duty payment
• Monitor and fulfill EDPMS, IDPMS and RBI compliance.
• Manage all aspect of Goods and Service Tax (GST) compliance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree with 7 years’ experience in the field of EXIM & GST operations
