Assistant Manager Networks

The Assistant Manager Networks, will be responsible for managing and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, and providing support for network operations. This role focuses on managing and optimizing firewalls, load balancers, and network policies using Fortinet and UniFi solutions.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain enterprise-level network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Oversee and manage LAN, WAN, WLAN, VLAN, and VPN architectures, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.
• Manage and optimize firewall policies, VPN configurations, and IPS/IDS systems using FortiOS to ensure secure and efficient network operations.
• Configure and troubleshoot Fortinet devices, including NAT, VLANs, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), and network segmentation.
• Expertise in designing and managing UniFi networks, including UniFi Controller, UniFi APs, UniFi Switches, and UniFi Security Gateways (USG).
• Lead the monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of network issues to ensure minimal downtime and business continuity.
• Expertise in server virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage solutions (SAN, NAS).
• Familiarity with load balancing, failover technologies, and HA clusters.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline; advanced degree is a plus.
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering roles, with a strong focus on enterprise networks and Systems.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Fortinet certifications such as NSE4, NSE5, NSE6, or NSE7 are highly desirable.
• Certifications such as CCNA is a must.
• CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
