Job Description
To assist the Manager of Preview Centre (SM) ensuring the Preview Centreās Sales Team attains defined sales targets, recruitment, training, development and retention of Vacation Consultants; external and internal customer satisfaction; and maintaining a positive relationship within the community.
To assist Vacation Consultant is responsible for consistent and accurate sales presentations to Anantara Vacation Club (AVC) tour guests, to achieve defined sales targets, while at all times maintaining a professional and personal image in up-holding AVCās and its related companies standards of integrity, quality and service to both internal and external customers.
Qualifications
1. Ensure the profitability of the Preview Operations by exceeding sales revenue targets, at or below budgeted costs,
2. Assist the Manager of Preview Centre/ the Senior Manager of Preview Centre in the overall management of the Sales Preview centre including the development, training and mentoring of any Vacation Consultants,
3. Ensure that the appropriate number and quality of Vacation Consultants is sufficient at all times to meet budgeted Guest tours. Take responsibility for the recruitment activity, training, development and performance measures of Vacation Consultants as appropriate,
4. Develop, maintain and enhance AVCās culture in all facets of the sales operation, while building strong and ethical team values,
5. Coordinate and supervise the initial sales induction and training program with new Vacation Consultants to ensure they have a complete understanding of the sales process and the AVC Points product,
6. Assist in and/or conduct the daily āgeneralā sales meetings prior to the wave of the day, ensuring the content delivers a āstrong motivational message(s)ā to ensure high energy, passion and enthusiasm are the key drivers of all Vacation Consultants as they commence their work day,
7. Practise the āpraise in public, chastise in privateā principal in leading the sales team,
8. Conduct regular and one-on-one training and performance reviews with Vacation Consultants, and instigate the company performance management program to ensure all Vacation Consultants are achieving their individual sales targets,
9. Supervise the daily operational aspects of the Preview Centreās āSales Floorā through active management participation,
10. Actively assist in closing sales for Vacation Consultants and be available on the sales floor during sales operational waves,
11. Assist and/or supervise regular (minimum weekly) team training sessions of all Vacation Consultants on selected aspects of the sales presentation, or other motivational, instructional topics, with the objective of ensuring the delivery and integrity of the sales process is not compromised or deviated from. Ensure there is consistency with AVCās approved training, development and motivational programs,
12. Ensure all Vacation Consultants are able to see their actual production versus their weekly/ period goals,
13. Maintain high standards and professional leadership, inspire, motivate and be an active participant in the sales floor supervision during presentation times,
