Assistant Merchant

Hill House is seeking an Assistant Merchandiser responsible for supporting merchandising key initiatives in partnership with the VP & Sr. Manager of Merchandising. The Assistant Merchant is a highly organized, strong cross-functional communicator with impressive attention to detail. This position is full time and based at Hill House Home office in New York reporting to the Sr. Manager of Merchandising. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Sales Hindsights
• Own all Sample Management
• Own linesheet creation, maintenance & associated product knowledge
• Own Product Change Log and ensure all cross-functional partners are aware of shifts in a timely & clear manner
• Own all product related data entry including product hierarchy, discontinue dates & critical product metrics
• Assist with Lineplan Creation on a Seasonal Basis (4x/year)
• Own Marketplace Trend & Runway recaps on a quarterly basis
• Collaborate with key partners Marketing, Customer Service, Store Ops & Site team to ensure all teams are aligned to key initiatives, upcoming product launches and strategic focuses
