Job Description

The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine is accepting applications for an academic faculty position in the field of Internal Medicine. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor (clinical, non-tenure track). The position is based at LSU Health Baton Rouge and is affiliated with Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. The responsibilities will include direct patient care, teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and research.

Required Education: MD or equivalent

Certifications/Licenses Required: Board certified/board eligible (or equivalent) in Internal Medicine; licensed to practice medicine in Louisiana and credentialed with all required entities before hire

Prefer experience in academic medical center teaching both residents and students
