Job Description

The LSU Health Sciences Center, Department of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary and Critical Care & Allergy/Immunology in New Orleans, seeks an enthusiastic pulmonologist to join our faculty at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). The successful candidate will provide inpatient clinical duties for the Section’s robust ICU service. Some pulmonary consult service staffing may also be required. Academic appointment commensurate with professional experience. This is an excellent opportunity to join our faculty. Experience is preferred, but junior faculty with excellent training should apply.

The Section currently consists of 14 faculty members and has an ACGME-accredited training program for 14 pulmonary and critical care fellows. The successful candidate will enjoy collaborative and productive interactions within our growing faculty. LSUHSC offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
