Assistant/Associate/Professor Economics & Business

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• A master's degree (doctorate or terminal degree preferred) relevant to economics, business administration, or a closely related discipline.
• A demonstrated record of excellence in teaching and curriculum development in an institution of higher education.
• Professional experience in a field related to political economy, microeconomics and/or business strategy, such as (1) assessing the domestic and global economic environment to inform national security; and/or (2) evaluating domestic and international industries using standard business tools; and/or (3) developing policy options in support of evaluating, marshaling, and managing resources to achieve national security objectives, such as fiscal and monetary policy; and/or (4) expertise in an industry sector relevant to U.S. national security.

CRITERIA FOR DETERMINING ACADEMIC RANK:

Assistant Professor must possess an earned doctoral degree (preferred) or equivalent terminal degree (preferred), or an earned master's degree in economics, business administration, or a closely related discipline. Individual must have professional experience in a field related to political economy, microeconomics, business strategy and/or an industry sector relevant to U.S. national security. Individual must also have documented full-time teaching experience at a regionally accredited university or college.

Associate Professor must possess an earned doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree in economics, business administration, or a closely related discipline. Individual must have significant professional experience in a field related to political economy, microeconomics, business strategy and/or an industry sector relevant to U.S. national security. Individual must also have documented full-time graduate-level teaching experience at a regionally accredited university or college for at least five years.

Professor requires an earned doctoral degree or equivalent terminal degree in economics, business administration, or a closely related discipline. Individual must have extensive professional experience in a field related to political economy, microeconomics, business strategy and/or an industry sector relevant to U.S. national security. Individual must have (1) at least eight years, or the instructional equivalent, of full-time teaching experience at a regionally accredited university, of which at least three years must be at the graduate level; (2) a record of scholarship excellence, leadership among peers, and recognition with a sustained record of contributions to the curriculum; and (3) a record of engagement and advancement of institutional partnerships, relationships that leverage cross-component and mission success, and networks of influence that contribute to national security strategy and resourcing.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
