Associate Software Engineer will learn to deliver upon sprint-level software engineering commitments in an Echo's agile methodology to achieve product/business goals as an individual contributor. This associate software engineer should be able to learn to estimate, plan for, and deliver upon work items assigned. In addition, the software engineer should be able to work in an independent fashion with significant oversight and teamwork, reaching out to mentors for assistance and learning opportunity. The associate software engineer should be able to learn how to be relied upon as a member of the Scrum team as a full contributor for user-story level work.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop web-enabled applications for Echo
• Perform coding, debugging, testing and troubleshooting throughout the development process
• Works to ensure that project/department milestones are met
• Actively participates as part of a team in the agile software development process and ceremonies

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of at least 1 OOP language (Java, C++, C#, Python) or knowledge of 1 Front-end framework (MVC, WPF)
• Basic understanding of SQL / Relational DB
• Knowledge of API's, WCF, SOAP, or Other integration framework
• Bachelor's Level Degree with < 1 year of relevant working experience

Preferred Skills:

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure Devops
• Good communication skills
• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes

Work environment/physical demands summary:
