Job Description

Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. Responsible for valuation of investments across funds and separate accounts managed by the Asset Management business. Responsible for regulatory, investor, and management reporting around across the Private Credit Group Fund Complex. Responsible for price verification of private equity and debt positions. Participate in price verification of broadly syndicated bank loan positions. Participate in review of independent vendor/broker pricing and third-party valuation processes. Participate in external/internal Audit review process. Prepare various metrics/disclosures for use in publicly issued fund financial statements. Present valuation results to various stakeholders and senior management. Regular interaction with Portfolio Managers, Legal, Compliance, and external Auditors Independent Valuation Advisors. Ensure appropriate implementation and execution of control framework.

Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a closely related financial field. Three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have three (3) years of experience with: conducting financial statements analysis utilizing income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements; private valuation techniques and methodologies, including utilizing market approach and income approach; utilizing Fixed Income and Equities markets and alternative investment management industry external data sources such as Bloomberg, S&P Capital IQ, or Factset; utilizing Excel functions and modeling to prepare independent financial models, assess accuracy of existing models, and prepare reporting deliverables; and presenting and providing verbal and written communications to senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
