Job Duties: Associate with Goldman Sachs Services LLC in Salt Lake City, Utah. As an Associate on the Client Onboarding team, engage in client service and relationship support, risk management, regulatory adherence, and other related tasks. Client service & Sales Support: Responsible for key client relationships for the firm to maintain and establish relationships with institutional clients, help facilitate the front-to-back coordination, and facilitate setup of trading relationships for the Global Banking & Markets (formerly Global Markets) Division. Business and/or client-aligned to serve as the central point of contact working closely with internal stakeholders to understand dynamic changes in commercial demands for the business they support. Regularly engage with clients with an in-depth understanding of the regulatory environment to effectively identify risk and escalate concerns with precision and accuracy when the clients wish to make or expand into a new jurisdiction, new products, or other new ventures to ensure due diligence is completed. Work directly with clients to obtain documentation requirements required to meet our compliance and regulatory obligations required to setup a Global Markets trading relationship for any instruments traded across Fixed Income (including Derivatives, FX, and Commodities), Equities, and Prime Services. Create all new client trading accounts and coordinate additional trading features/account types for existing clients, including client maintenance and data quality management. Closely work with Technology to design new system enhancements to improve efficiencies, and work with Compliance to define and implement firm policies and controls. Risk management: Responsible for reaching out to obtain Anti-Money Laundering (AML) information and documentation from the client/business. Develop expertise in the Firm's AML/Customer Identification due diligence policies. Design procedures to reflect changing regulatory requirements, review legal structures of various entities, collect, and prepare due diligence documents, and complete other administrative tasks to ensure client expectations are met. Ensure due diligence is performed to comply with "Know Your Customer" regulations. Timely and effectively escalate potential relationship issues and devise possible resolutions. Participate in regular meetings to maintain clarity and consistency surrounding workflow. Additional responsibilities will include: Devise and implement process improvement efficiencies. Project management ranging from small enhancements to large-scale, global initiatives. Taking responsibility for delivering against commitments. Developing required reporting and identifying and implementing efficiencies.
Job Requirements: Master's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field and one (1) year of experience in the job offered or in a related role OR Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, Business, or related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Must have one (1) year of experience with: working knowledge of the operational flow of a wide variety of investment products from pre-trade to post settlement; building relationships with both external and internal clients to gain knowledge of specific strategies and determine individual needs; exercising expertise in financial regulation and compliance and utilizing knowledge of a client in situations without a clearly defined process or procedure; analyzing large data sets of 10,000+ lines and synthesizing into key themes combined with control mentality and meticulous attention to detail; analyzing data and configuring operational metrics through self-service tooling: Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Data Warehousing, Defensive Design Methods and RPA robotics; handling multiple, time-sensitive projects while focusing on the quality of work delivered and helping to lead projects and teams to a successful conclusion; and manipulating system parameters with BDM (Business Decision Modeling).
